What is Paintless Dent Repair?

Paintless Dent Repair is the process of removing small to medium size dented or stressed areas in the exterior sheet metal of automobiles without the need for refinishing. It is a much faster and less expensive alternative to conventional body work; in most cases it takes just a few hours.

How does it work?

A special light is used to cast a reflection on the damaged area of the vehicle. The technician uses the reflection to see every last detail of the dent. The stressed metal is then reshaped by the technician ususally by forcing the metal out from behind with a set of pry bars made specifically for paintless dent repair.

In the case that the dent cannot be accessed from behind, a glue puller is used. Fine Edge utilizes the most advanced lighting system for Paintless Dent Repair to produce the best repair possible.
